Left and Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1410)

Removing

- Remove wiper arms.

- Remove plenum chamber cover.

- Disconnect the connector.






- Remove the bolts and the front body acceleration sensor (G341).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:


The front body acceleration sensors must never be interchanged with the rear body acceleration sensors. Allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

- Be sure to pay attention to the installation position of the front body acceleration sensor retainer.






The tab on the retainer - 1 - must fit into the recess in the front body acceleration sensor - arrow -.

• Be sure to use the correct retainer. An "LA" is stamped on the retainer
