Generator Overview


Follow the procedure in the Repair Information when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

7 Generator Cap

• 2 Nm

• M4 x 13

9 Voltage Regulator

• Removing and installing voltage regulator, refer to => [ Voltage Regulator, Bosch ] Voltage Regulator, Bosch or => [ Voltage Regulator, Valeo ] Voltage Regulator, Valeo.

10 Generator

• Generator, removing and installing, refer to => [ Generator ] Generator.

• Generator (GEN), checking, refer to => [ Generator, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

• Securing B+ wire to generator, refer to => [ B+ Cable Mount on Generator ] Procedures.

• Removing and installing the ribbed belt pulley, refer to => [ Ribbed Belt Pulley Without Freewheel ] Ribbed Belt Pulley Without Freewheel, => [ Ribbed Belt Pulley with Freewheel, Bosch ] Ribbed Belt Pulley With Freewheel, Bosch or => [ Ribbed Belt Pulley with Freewheel, Valeo ] Ribbed Belt Pulley With Freewheel, Valeo.

11 Ribbed Belt

• Checking, refer to => [ Ribbed Belt, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.
