Removing


Always read the General Safety Precautions before working on airbags, belt tensioners and battery cut-out units (pyrotechnical components). Refer to => [ Airbag, Belt Tensioner and Battery Cut-Out Units, General Safety Precautions ] Airbag, Belt Tensioner and Battery Cut-Out Units, General Safety Precautions.

- Disconnect the battery.

- Remove the seat bench. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Disconnect the connector lock - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - and disconnect the connector- 2 - from front passenger side rear side airbag crash sensor (G257) - 3 -.






- Remove bolt - 4 -(9 Nm) and then remove front passenger side rear side airbag crash sensor (G257) from the mount.

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Switch on ignition.


Make sure no one is in the vehicle.

- Connect the battery.
