The seat heater performance is reduced to protect the battery during start.

Installation of seat heater control units with improved heating performance:

^ Golf - from chassis number: AJ_BW213112

^ Tiguan - 2012 production

Service

Check the seat heater and if necessary replace the seat heater control unit.

1. Confirm customer complaint before replacing the seat heater control unit.

2. Diagnose and correct (if any) faults for the seat heater control unit.

3. Replace the seat heater control unit (part number: 5K0 959 772 A) located under driver seat.
