Oil Cooler: Service and Repair






Oil Filter Adapter and Engine Oil Cooler Overview






1 - Gasket

Always replace.

2 - Bolt

15 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

Always replace.

First, tighten the upper left and lower right bolts, and then tighten all 4 bolts in a diagonal sequence.

3 - Oil Filter Adapter

Make sure there is enough space to the surrounding components.

4 - Seal

Always replace

5 - Connection

30 Nm

6 - Oil Supply Line

22 Nm

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Turbocharger Oil Supply Line ] Service and Repair.

To the turbocharger.

7 - Oil Pressure Switch (F1)

22 Nm

Identification: brown

0.7 bar

If the sealing ring is leaking cut it off and replace it.

Checking, refer to => [ Oil Pressure and Oil Pressure Switch, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

8 - Cap

25 Nm

9 - O-ring

Always replace.

10 - Oil Filter Element

Follow the replacement intervals.

11 - Seal

Always replace.

Coat with oil before installing.

Snaps into the tabs of the oil cooler.

12 - Oil Cooler

Make sure there is enough space to the surrounding components.

13 - Seal

Always replace.

14 - Cover

25 Nm

15 - Bolt

10 Nm

16 - Bracket
