Door panel can also experience a slight rattling noise.

Technical Background





The foam seal between the door trim and door speaker may be incorrectly fitted:

Production Solution

Not applicable.

Service

Ensure the foam seal is properly positioned and is producing a good seal between the door trim and speaker. The foam seal must be neatly attached to the outer surface of the tabs that form a circle around the speaker grille.





Remove door panel. Refer to Repair Manual Group 70,
Interior Trim in ElsaWeb.

^ Reposition foam seal as shown.

^ If necessary, replace foam seal with part number 1K8971798.
