Oil Pressure Regulator Valve: Description and Operation

Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Overview





1 Mounting Plate

• For the oil cooler, pressure regulator valve for the crankshaft housing ventilation and the oil filter housing.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Mounting Plate ] Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Mounting Plate.

2 Bolt

• 9 Nm

3 Seal

• Replace

4 Reduced Oil Pressure Switch

• 0.9 bar

• Gray insulation

• Checking, refer to => [ Oil Pressure Switch and Oil Pressure, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Reduced Oil Pressure Switch ] Reduced Oil Pressure Switch.

5 O-rings

• Replace

6 Gasket

• Replace

7 O-ring

• Replace

8 Bolt

• 9 Nm

9 Oil Supply Line

• To the turbocharger.

10 O-ring

• Replace

11 Oil Filter Element

• Pull off when removing the cover - item 13 -.

• When installing, insert the lower support on the oil filter element into the hole on the oil filter housing.

12 Gasket

• Replace

13 Cover

• 35 Nm

• Loosen and tighten using a 32 mm socket or wrench.

14 Bolt

• 9 Nm

16 Oil Filter Housing

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Filter Housing ] Oil Filter Housing.

• With the oil filter by pass valve 2.0 to 3.0 bar (pressure difference before and after the filter).

17 Pressure Regulator Valve for the Crankcase Housing Ventilation

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Crankcase Ventilation Pressure Regulator Valve ] Service and Repair.

18 Bolt

• 9 Nm

19 Crankcase Ventilation Bleeder Pipe

20 O-ring

• Replace

21 O-ring

• Replace

22 Bolt

• 9 Nm

23 Oil Cooler

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Cooler ] Oil Cooler.

• With the oil filter by pass valve 2.0 to 3.0 bar (pressure difference before and after the oil cooler).

24 Bolt

• 9 Nm

25 Seals

• Replace

26 Coolant Hose

27 Coolant Line

28 O-ring

• Replace

29 Gasket

• Replace
