• Clean the sealing surface before installing.

Install using silicone adhesive sealant (D 176 501).

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Upper Oil Pan ] Upper Oil Pan.

5 Bracket

• For the electrical wiring harness.

6 Bolt

• 9 Nm

7 Oil Pressure Regulation Valve (N428)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Pressure Regulation Valve ] Oil Pressure Regulation Valve.

8 Bolt

• 9 Nm

9 Sealing Piece

• Quantity: 2

• Replace

10 Bolt

• 9 Nm

• Tighten in a diagonal sequence and in steps.

11 Crankshaft Seal, Belt Pulley Side

• Replacing, refer to => [ Crankshaft Seal, Belt Pulley Side ] Crankshaft Seal, Belt Pulley Side.

12 Idler Pulley

• Note the installed position.

13 Idler Pulley Cover

14 Bolt

• 22 Nm

15 Sealing Flange, Front

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side ] Service and Repair.

16 O-ring

• Replace

17 Oil Pressure Switch (F22)

• 20 Nm

• Switching pressure 2.5 to 3.2 bar.

• 2 terminal, gray insulation.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Pressure Switch ] Oil Pressure Switch.

18 Seal

• Replace

19 Bolt

• 9 Nm

20 Oil Dipstick

21 O-ring

• Replace

22 Oil Dipstick Guide Tube

23 Bolt

• 9 Nm

24 O-ring

• Replace

25 O-rings

• Replace

26 Gasket

• Replace

28 Oil Return Line

29 O-ring

• Replace

31 Alignment Bushing

• Quantity: 2

• 14 Nm

• Tighten in a diagonal sequence and in steps.

33 Bolt

• 45 Nm

34 Plug

• 35 Nm

• For the Top Dead Center (TDC) opening.
