Fog Lamp Bulb

• The fog lamp does not need to be removed when removing and installing the left front fog lamp bulb (L22) or the right front fog lamp bulb (L23). It is possible to access the bulb through a flap in the wheel housing.

• The illustrations depict removal and installation at left fog lamp.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the screw - arrow - in the wheelhouse and open the flap - 1 -.






• For reasons of clarity, the fog lamp is shown removed in the following illustrations.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Turn the lamp socket with the front fog lamp bulb - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - and remove it from the fog lamp.






The fog lamp bulb is joined firmly to lamp socket and cannot be replaced separately.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Check the function of the fog lamp.

- Check the fog lamp setting and adjust if necessary. Refer to Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting
