Rear Interior and Reading Lamps

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Release the retaining tabs - arrows - using the (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver and remove the interior and map/reading lamps from the roof trim panel while being careful of connected wires.






- Release and disconnect the harness connector - arrow - and remove the interior and map/reading lamps.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
