Observe safety precautions.






The vehicle identification number (VIN) - arrow - is located on the right side of the vehicle near the suspension strut mounting in the plenum chamber.

• If the bulkhead must be replaced due to damage, service should be documented according to market requirements.

• The vehicle identification must be mounted prior to welding the bulkhead.

• On this vehicle, the suspension strut mounting is enclosed by the components underneath. It is possible to replace this only if damage is extensive whereby the neighboring vehicle components must be replaced. The repair procedures are based on this assumption.

3 Upper longitudinal member

4 Wheel housing liner

5 Plenum chamber

• Upper longitudinal member already removed

• Wheel housing longitudinal member already removed

• Wheel housing reinforcement already removed

• Wheel housing liner already removed.






• When marking the separating cut, pay attention to the components below.

- Mark and make the separating cut - 1 - on the bulk head (plenum chamber) - 2 -.






- Remove residual material.
