Installation

• When using different types of steel and materials of different strengths, one of the the inverters listed under Special Tools are required to perform spot welding work correctly.

Preparing New Parts

• Wheel housing

• Bar piece

• Plenum chamber

- Transfer separating cut onto the bar piece and cut to shape.






Welding






- Fit and secure the new component using the alignment bracket mountings and the neighboring components.

- Weld in wheel housing, SG plug weld seam and RP spot weld seam.

- Restore joint between wheel housing and plenum chamber, gas shielded arc plug weld seam.






- Weld the negative cable mount with minimum 3 weld points, RP spot weld seam.

- Install upper wheel housing front longitudinal member.

- Fit, secure and weld the headlamp bracket using the alignment bracket.
