• Before troubleshooting or servicing, the technicians must be familiar with the function and operation of the radio unit.

• Refer to the Owner's Manual.

• Anti-theft code is equipped with protection code number. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Coding, Deactivating, RCD 310 ] Anti-Theft Coding, Deactivating, RCD 310.

• For servicing or troubleshooting, use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & Information System (VAS5051B) "Guided Fault Finding".

• When the battery is reconnected, check any affected system or component (radio, clock, comfort electrical connection etc.) according to the repair information and/or the Owner's Manual.

The RCD 310 radio has the following features, among others:

• 4 speaker channels with 20 watts each

• Monochrome display

• Control for an external 6-CD changer

• Telephone control (hands free)

• externally connectable sound amplifier

• Digital audio broadcasting radio possible

The RCD 310 radio consists of the radio and the front and rear speakers.

The CD player integrated inside the radio plays the following CD formats:

• CD-R

• CD-RW

• MP3

• wma

• CD's that contain computer data and also music cannot be played.

The antenna is integrated inside the radio unit with diversity function.
