Side Luggage Compartment Trim

• The following describes removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove the floor cover from the vehicle.

- Remove spare wheel from vehicle.

- Remove the inserts from the vehicle.

- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to => [ Lock Carrier Cover ] Lock Carrier Cover

- Remove the side luggage compartment trim screw - 1 - (1.5 Nm).






- Remove the bracket - 2 -, as an alternative a trim can be removed.

- Remove the screw - 1 - (1.5 Nm) in the luggage compartment cover bracket.






- Remove the securing piece - 1 - (8 Nm), if equipped.






- Remove bolt - 1 - (1.5 Nm).






- Remove the screw - 1 - (8 Nm) and remove the securing eye - 2 -, if equipped.






- Remove the trim - 1 - from the retainers in the side panel and disconnect harness connectors from the Luggage Compartment Light (W3) and the outlet.






Installation

• Before installing, check securing clips for damage and replace if necessary.

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Make sure, that the trim is placed in the in the cover seal piping.
