Door Hinge, Assembly Overview

• The illustration shows a right door hinge. The left door hinge is identical.

• Always replace the door hinge bolts after loosening them.

• Lubricate the new door hinge if the old one was replaced.





1 Door

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Door, Removing and Installing ] Front Door

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Door, Adjusting ] Door, Adjusting

2 Door hinge

• Upper portion is attached to lower portion of hinge with screw - 4 -

• The hinge is divided

• lubricate if the hinge is replaced, refer to => [ New Door Hinges, Lubricating ] New Door Hinges, Lubricating

3 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

• Always replace bolts after loosening them

4 Bolt

• This screw must be unscrewed to remove the door from the hinge

• 30 Nm

5 Door hinge

• Lower portion is attached to upper portion of hinge with screw - 4 -

• The hinge is divided

• Lubricate if the hinge is replaced, refer to => [ New Door Hinges, Lubricating ] New Door Hinges, Lubricating

6 Bolt

• Installed from vehicle interior

• Remove lower A-pillar trim.

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

• After replacing the A-pillar, other tightening specifications are to be observed, refer to => [ Installing after Replacing
the A-Pillar ] Front Door

• Always replace bolts after loosening them

7 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

• After replacing the A-pillar, other tightening specifications are to be observed, refer to => [ Installing after Replacing
the A-Pillar ] Front Door

• Always replace bolts after loosening them

8 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

9 Door strap

10 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

11 Bolt

• Remove the bolt on the driver side.

• Remove the glove compartment

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

• After replacing the A-pillar, other tightening specifications are to be observed. Refer to => [ Installing after Replacing
the A-Pillar ] Front Door

• Always replace bolts after loosening them

12 Door hinge

• Lower portion is attached to upper portion of hinge with screw - 13 -

• The hinge is divided

• Lubricate if the hinge is replaced, refer to => [ New Door Hinges, Lubricating ] New Door Hinges, Lubricating

13 Bolt

• This screw must be unscrewed to remove the door from the hinge

• Tightening specification: 30 Nm

14 Door hinge

• Upper portion is attached to lower portion of hinge with screw - 13 -

• The hinge is divided

15 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

• Always replace bolts after loosening them

16 Bolt

• Tightening specification: 32 Nm

• Always replace bolts after loosening them
