Shift Mechanism with Selector Lever, through 02.2009

• After installation, the cable must be checked for ease of movement and must be adjusted.

- Remove center console.

- Remove the cable from transmission. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, through 02.2009 ] Selector Lever Cable, through 02.2009.

- Remove the exhaust system components underneath the heat shield.

- Remove the heat shield under the vehicle.

- Remove the 4 nuts of the shift mechanism from above.

Tightening specification of nuts: 8 Nm

- After installation, check the cable. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable Checking, through 02.2009 ] Testing and Inspection.
