License Plate Light

Bulb, removing and installing:

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove bolts - arrows - for the license plate light.

- Remove diffusion lens with bulb from license plate light housing.





- Press contact plate in direction of arrow and remove bulb.





Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

• On the lens of the license plate light a small silver-colored glare-blocking strip - arrow - is applied. When installing the lens, this must always face toward the bumper.





License plate light, removing:

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Press retaining tab - arrow - in direction of arrow with a suitable screwdriver and remove license plate light from bumper.





- Disengage and disconnect harness connector - arrow -.





License plate light, installing:

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

• On the lens of the license plate light a small silver-colored glare-blocking strip - arrow - is applied. When installing the lens, this must always face toward the bumper.





When assembling license plate light, make sure that diffusion lens gasket has proper fit.

- Tighten the mounting bolts - arrows - to 1.2 Nm.
