1 Crankcase Ventilation Breather Hose

• From the cylinder head cover.

2 Ventilation Hose

3 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 (N80)

4 Vacuum Hose

• From the Leak Detection Pump (LDP) (V144).

• Vehicle through MY 2009 only.

• From MY 2010, the vacuum connection is on the vacuum pump, vacuum line to the brake booster.

5 Bolt

• 9 Nm

6 Fuel Rail

• Assembly overview, refer to => [ Fuel Rail and Injectors ] Intake Manifold and Fuel Rail Assembly Overviews.

7 Fuel Supply Line

8 Gasket

• Replace

• Note the installed position:

Casting mark points upward.

9 Intake Manifold

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] Intake Manifold.

10 Intake Manifold Support

• Not installed on all vehicles.

11 Bolt

• 25 Nm

12 Bolt

• 16 Nm

13 O-ring

• replace if damaged

14 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor (G71 )

• From MY 2009 with Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (G42)

15 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm

16 Coolant Connections

• Phased-in introduction of throttle valve control module without coolant heating.

17 Bolt

• 6.5 Nm

18 Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

• With throttle drive (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G186), throttle drive angle sensor 1 (for EPC) (G187) and throttle drive angle sensor 2 (for EPC) (G188)

• When replacing, erase the adaptation values and adapt the Engine Control Module (ECM) to the throttle valve control module. Refer to vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system"Guided Functions".

19 Seal

• Replace if damaged
