Update Programming to Eliminate DTC PI5OA Stored in ECM Fault Memory





This Technical Bulletin addresses the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) on 2009 Jetta / Jetta Sportwagen 2.5L and Rabbit 2.5L vehicles equipped with the ME17.5 engine management system with a MAP-sensor.

Customers may complain of a MIL ON condition, which is caused by DTC P150A. The condition as described does not affect vehicle performance or operation.

Improved software was introduced in production.

Update Programming Procedure:





^ Update the Engine Control Module using the SVM action code as listed in the table.
