Radio Navigation System With Electronic Antitheft System






Electronic Antitheft System

The radio navigation system is equipped with an electronic antitheft system

The electronic antitheft system is activated and will lock the radio as soon as:

the voltage supply (terminal 30) drops below a certain value.

radio unit fuse is burned through.

the radio unit is disconnected from the voltage supply (terminal 30) (e.g. when removing radio unit).

if battery (terminal 30) is disconnected to perform work on vehicle.

Electronic antitheft system function must be reactivated when installing a new radio navigation system. Refer to=> [ Electronic Antitheft System Code ] Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

A radio navigation system which has been locked by the electronic antitheft system will then show the letters "CODE?" on its display when switched on.

To remove the lock, deactivate the unit lock with the electronic antitheft system. Refer to => [ Electronic Antitheft System Code ] Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
