Front Radar Interior Monitoring Control Modules
The front radar interior monitoring control module is made up of the Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module 1 (G303) (inside the driver door) and Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module 2 (G305) (inside the front passenger door).
CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical components.
• Remove the key.
• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.
Removing
- Remove the door trim panel.
- Disconnect the connector - 2 - on the radar control module.
- Remove screws - 1 -.
- Remove the radar control module from the door.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Tighten the screws to 2 Nm.
Rear Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module
The rear radar interior monitoring control module includes the Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module 3 (G444) (behind the left side trim panel) and the Radar Interior Monitoring Control Module 4 (G445) (behind the right side trim panel).
CAUTION!

• Remove the key.
• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.
Removing
- Remove the side trim panel.
- Disconnect the connector - 2 - on the radar control module.
- Remove screws - 1 -.
- Remove the radar control module - 3 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Tighten the screws to 2 Nm.
Sensor, Adapting Sensitivity
It is possible to adjust the sensitivity of the front interior monitoring sensors. The sensors are set to 100% at the factory. The sensitivity can be reduced down to 50%.
Optimal interior monitoring is 100%. Every time the sensitivity is changed, the risk of the alarm going off too late or even not all increases.
- Connect the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B).
- In Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B), select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding ".
- Using the Go to button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Electrical Equipment
• 01 - On Board Diagnostic capable systems
• Convertible interior monitoring
• Functions
• Sensor, Adapting Sensitivity
