Fixed Door Window with Window Guide

Removing

- Remove the door window. Refer to --> [ Door Window ] Door Window.

- Remove the outer door window recess seal. Refer to --> [ Outer Window Recess Seal ] Outer Window Recess Seal.

- Pry out both of the cover caps - 3 -.





- Remove both bolts - 2 - from the center brace - 1 -.

- Remove the window guide rubber - 3 - from the trim - 2 - in the - direction of arrow A -.





- Remove the bolts - 2 - and remove the trim - 1 - in the - direction of arrow B -.

With Window Guide Trim Molding

- Pull the front of the window guide - 2 - to the side slightly.





- Remove the expanding rivet - 5 - from the window guide trim molding - 1 -.

All Vehicles

- Disengage the window guide - 1 - with the fixed door window - 2 - on inside and outside all around from the window frame - 4 -.

- Carefully pry the clip - 5 - out of the window frame - 2 -.

- Remove the entire window guide - 1 - with the fixed door window - 4 - and center brace - 3 - upward in the direction of - arrow A - out of the door.





- Remove bolt - 4 -.

- Remove the center brace - 3 - from the clip - 2 - and the window guide - 1 -.

- Fold the fixed door window - 5 - out of the window guide - 1 -.





Installing

To install, spray the window guide with soapy water.

Further installation is in reverse order of removal.

Use a new clip when installing the center brace.

• While installing fixed door window with window guide, make sure it is seated evenly (wind noise).
