2 Flanged shaft with spring
• Removing and installing --> [ Transmission Housing, Shift Mechanism, Input Shaft, Output Shafts, Differential and Selector Rods ] Transmission Housing, Shift Mechanism, Input Shaft, Output Shafts, Differential and Selector Rods.
• Assembling --> [ Differential ] Service and Repair.
3 Sealing cap
4 Circlip
5 Back-up light switch, 20 Nm
6 Seal
• Always replace
7 Oil drain plug
• Note different versions
• With multi point socket head, 45 Nm
• With hex-socket head, 30 Nm
8 Seal
• Always replace
9 Locking bolt, 30 Nm
• For selector shaft
10 Bolt, 15 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
• Bolt with permanent washer as replacement part only
• Always replace, allocate.

11 Bolt, 15 Nm+ an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
• Without washer
• Always replace, allocate.

12 Selector mechanism
• Servicing --> [ Selector Mechanism Assembly Overview, Transmission Side ] Selector Mechanism Assembly Overview, Transmission Side.
• Removing with installed transmission:
• Remove battery and battery carrier
• Remove cables, relay lever and transmission shift lever
• Remove locking bolt, remove selector mechanism
13 Hex bolt, 20 Nm
• Always replace
14 O-ring
• Always replace
15 Clutch housing
• Servicing --> [ Clutch Housing, Servicing ] Clutch Housing, Servicing.
16 Transmission housing
• Servicing --> [ Transmission Housing, Servicing ] Transmission Housing, Servicing.
