Clutch End Cover, Removing

Description

The cover is held in place by a securing ring. After securing ring has been removed, cover can be pried out of seating. Cover and securing ring must always be replaced. Never install a new cover using a hammer and never oil the center seal or touch with the hand! If this should occur, the cover will certainly leak!





To perform work on the cover, transmission must be removed.

- Remove transmission --> [ Transmission, Removing ] Transmission, Removing.

- Attach transmission to assembly stand --> [ Transmission, Transporting and Securing to Assembly Bracket ] Transmission, Transporting and Securing to Assembly Bracket.

- Remove drain plug - arrow - and drain oil.





- Install oil drain plug with new seal - arrow -.





Tightening torque: 45 Nm

- Remove filter.





- Install filter with seat facing downward and tighten housing to 20 Nm.





- After repairing, you do not have to change filter again when filling oil.

- Remove securing ring from cap.

Cap can be pried out using a screwdriver.

Only install new cover --> [ Clutch End Cover, Installing ] Clutch End Cover, Installing.
