Tire Repair Kit

Vehicles are equipped with either a spare tire or a tire repair kit, depending on equipment.

The tire repair kit is located in the luggage compartment, where the spare tire would be stored if the vehicle was equipped with one. It contains a bottle of tire sealant - 1 - next to the compressor.





Tire Sealant

The tire sealant in the bottle has a limited storage life.

Therefore the minimum shelf life date - arrow - is marked on the bottle.





Replace tire sealant when the minimum shelf life date has been reached (tire sealant must not be older than 4 years).

If the bottle was opened, e.g. for a punctured tire, it must also be replaced.
