Mounting Bracket with Bushing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Guide pin (VW 439)

• Thrust plate (VW 401)

• Thrust plate (VW 402)

• Tube 31.5 mm dia. (VW 418A)

Removing

The bushing is only available with the mounting bracket as one replacement part.

- Press off the mounting bracket with bushing from the control arm.

• Hold the control arm while pressing out the control arm.

Installing

- Coat the hex of the control arm using thinned installation lubricant (G 294 421 A1) (1:20).

- Carefully press the mounting bracket with bushing onto the control arm until seated.
