Level Control System Sensors






Level Control System Sensors

There is a Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78) on the front axle and a Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76) on the rear axle.

If the Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78)/Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76) is replaced, check the values. Refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection. Then perform a basic setting on the head lamps.

Headlamp basic setting cannot be performed if the values for the Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78)/Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76) are outside of the tolerance.

Left Front Level Control System Sensor

CAUTION!
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Disconnect connector - arrow -.





- Remove the nut - 1 -.





- Remove the mounting bolt - 2 - and remove the Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78) - 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Tighten all threaded connections using the specified torques. Refer to --> [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] [1][2]Lighting and Horns.

- Check the Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78). Refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

- Perform headlamp basic setting.

If the Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78)/Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76) is replaced, check the values. Refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection. Then, perform basic setting on the headlamps.

Headlamp basic setting cannot be performed if the values for the Left Front Level Control System Sensor (G78)/Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76) are outside of the tolerance.

Left Rear Level Control System Sensor

CAUTION!
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Disconnect connector - arrow -.





- Remove the mounting bolts - 1 - and remove the Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76) - 2 -.





Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Check the Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76). Refer to --> [ Level Control System Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.
