1 Universal joint

2 Bolt, 30 Nm

• Always replace after removal.

3 Electrical wiring

4 Steering gear

• With power steering control module.

• With electromechanical power steering motor.

• With engine speed (RPM) sensor.

• With steering torque sensor.

• Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" using the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051B).

5 Wheel bearing housing

6 Nut, 20 Nm + 90° additional turn

• M12 x 1.5.

• Self locking.

• Always replace after removal.

7 Subframe with brackets

8 Bolt, 50 Nm + 90° additional turn

• Always replace after removal.

9 Shield

10 Bolt, 6 Nm

• Self-tapping.
