Brake Light Switch, from 12.11.05

On vehicles through 12.05.05, the brake light switch was located on the brake pedal bracket.

Removing

- Remove the engine cover.

- On some vehicles, the intake hose must be removed.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - from the brake light switch.





- Remove bolt - 2 - from brake master cylinder.

- Pull the brake light switch - 3 - downward and off from the master cylinder and remove it from the retaining tab at the top - 4 -.

Installing

- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
