Low Beam Headlamp

• The illustrations show how to replace the Left Low Beam Headlamp (M29).

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Rotate cover cap - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and remove it.





- Remove lamp socket with Left Low Beam Headlamp (M29) - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and remove it from headlamp.





- Remove the Left Low Beam Headlamp (M29) - 2 - in - direction of arrow - from lamp socket - 1 -.





Installing

• When installing cap, ensure proper seating. It is destroyed by ingress of water into headlamp.

• Do not touch the glass of the light bulb, when installing. Your fingers will leave traces of grease on the glass which, when the light is switched on, will evaporate and cloud the glass.

- Install the left low beam headlamp bulb (M29) - 1 - into the bulb socket so that the pin on the left low beam headlamp bulb (M29) fits into the recess - arrow - on the bulb socket - 2 -.





- Install the bulb socket and the left low beam headlamp bulb (M29) - 1 - into the headlamp and turn it in - direction of arrow -.





- Insert cover cap - 1 - into recess on headlamp and tighten cover cap in - direction of arrow -.





- Check headlamp for function.

- Check headlamp adjustment and adjust the headlamps.
