High Beam Headlamp

• The following illustrations show how to replace the Left High Beam Headlamp (M30) on the left headlamp.

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Pull off cover cap - 1 -.





- Disconnect harness connector - arrow -.





- Press spring retaining wire - 2 - in - direction of arrow - under catches - 1 - and fold spring retaining wire - 2 - upward.





- Remove the Left High Beam Headlamp (M30) - 1 - from the headlamp.





Installing

CAUTION!
• Do not touch the glass of the light bulb, when installing. Your fingers will leave traces of grease on the glass which, when the light is switched on, will evaporate and cloud the glass.

• When installing cap, ensure proper seating. It is destroyed by ingress of water into headlamp.

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Insert the Left High Beam Headlamp (M30) - 1 - into the recesses - arrows - on the headlamp.





- Check headlamp for function.

- Check headlamp adjustment and adjust the headlamps.
