Rear Wheel Speed Sensor

Removing

- Raise the vehicle.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - from the wheel speed sensor.





- Remove bolt - 2 - from the wheel bearing housing.

- Remove the wheel speed sensor from the wheel bearing housing.

Installing

- Before installing the wheel speed sensor, clean the inner surface of the bore and coat the sensor completely with hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3).

- Install the speed sensor to the wheel bearing housing and tighten the bolt to 8 Nm.

- Connect the electrical connector to the wheel speed sensor.
