Storage Compartment/Ashtray Unit

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

Vehicles with Automatic Transmission

- Loosen boot from cover.

Vehicles with Manual Transmission and Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)

- Loosen boot from cover.

- Remove the two bolts - 1 - (1.5 Nm).





- Remove storage compartment - 2 - from center console and (depending on vehicle equipment) disconnect wiring harnesses.

• An ashtray may be installed instead of the storage compartment, removal is the same.

Installing

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
