Upper A-Pillar Trim

• Removal and installation is described for the left-hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the right-hand side is performed in the same manner.

Removing

- Remove side instrument panel cover. Refer to --> [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] Removal and Replacement.

- Remove center A-pillar trim. Refer to --> [ Center A-Pillar Trim ] Center A-Pillar Trim.

- Remove emblem for airbag - 1 - and remove bolt - 2 - (3.5 Nm).

- Remove trim in area of mounting clip - 3 - from mounts - arrow A -.

- Remove trim from door seal piping.

- Pull trim out of front mount - arrow B -.

- Remove trim in rear area from instrument panel - arrow C -.

• When re-installing, emblem for airbag - 1 - must be replaced.

• Before installing, inspect the securing clips for damage and replace if necessary.





Installing

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
