Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor, Left Rear Side of Roof

From model year 2007, the Vehicle Inclination Sensor (G384) and Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor (G209) are installed in one unit on the left rear side of the roof.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove ignition key.

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( ( VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Using the (VAS 3409), unclip the Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor - arrow -.





• The clip - 1 - that holds the Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor has three prongs. To loosen the Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor, the three prongs must be pressed. Otherwise, the sensor will not come out.

- Remove the Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor.





- Disconnect the connector - 1 - from the Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
