1 - ABS Control Module -J104-
• Located on the hydraulic unit on the right side of the engine compartment

2 - ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-
• Located in engine compartment, on right side.
The hydraulic unit consists of the following components:
• ABS Hydraulic Pump -V64-

• Brake Pressure Sensor 1 -G201-

• Valve block (contains the inlet/outlet valves).


3 - Brake Pad Wear Indicator Lamp -K32-
• Located in the instrument cluster

4 - ABS warning lamp -K47-
• Located in the instrument cluster

5 - ASR/ESP Control Lamp -K155-
• Only on vehicles with EDL/ASR/ESP
• Located in the instrument cluster

6 - Brake System Warning Lamp -K118-
• Located in the instrument cluster

7 - Brake Light Switch -F- => [ Brake Light Switch through 12.09.05 ] Brake Light and Park Brake Light Switch
• Includes the Brake Pedal Switch -F47-
• Located on the master cylinder

8 - ASR/ESP Button -E256-
• Only on vehicles with ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP
• Located in the center console

9 - Data Link Connection (DLC)
• Located under the cover in the driver footwell

10 - Steering angle sender -G85-

Note:
• From 07.06.08, the steering angle sensor is located inside the steering
gear on vehicles equipped with generation 3 electromechanical steering

• Location A: On the steering column between the steering wheel and the steering column switch => [ Steering Angle Sensor ] Locations
• Location B: Inside the steering gear

11 - Front right speed sensor -G45- and Front left speed sensor -G47- => [ Front Wheel Speed Sensors ] Locations

12 - Wheel bearing and hub unit
• The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing

13 - Rear right speed sensor -G44- and Rear left speed sensor -G46- => [ Rear Wheel Speed Sensors ] Locations

14 - Wheel bearing and hub unit
• The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing
