Front Belt Latch

• The following describes removing and installing the seat belt latch on the left seat. Removing and installing the right seat belt latch is identical.

Removal

- Mount the (VAS 6136) on the (VAS 6095).

- Remove front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Attach the seat to the (VAS 6136).

- Position seat into rearmost seat position.

- Disconnect wiring harness to seat frame seat belt latch.

- Remove cover cap from seat rails.

- Remove bolt - 1 - (20 Nm).

• Bolt is micro-encapsulated and must be replaced after each loosening.

• Before installing the new bolt, threads on nut must be cleaned, re-cut if necessary.

- Pull seat belt latch - 2 - out of mount in seat rail - arrow -.





Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
