Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motors (V48)/(V49), Hella

• If the motors are removed and installed, check the headlamp position and adjust it if necessary.

• The illustrations show replacing on a right headlamp.


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removal

- Remove the headlamp. Refer to=> [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

- Remove the cap - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.






- Disconnect the connector - 2 -.






- Turn the right headlamp beam adjustment motor (V49) - 1 - in - direction of arrow A - and pull it slightly out of the mount - 2 -.






- Turn the right headlamp beam adjustment motor - 1 - in - direction of arrow B - and remove the ball head - 3 - from the ball head mount - 4 - on the right headlamp beam adjustment motor.

- Remove the right headlamp beam adjustment motor from the headlamp.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Carefully insert the right headlamp beam adjustment motor ball head - 1 - into the ball head guide - arrow -.







When installing the cover cap, make sure the cap is properly seated. It is destroyed by entry of water into headlamp.

- Check headlamp for functions.

- Check and adjust the headlamp adjustment.
