Amplifier: Service and Repair

Amplifier (R12)

The amplifier is under the left front seat.

Removing

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Move the left front seat into its uppermost and rearmost position.

- Unclip cover - arrow - on seat at bottom.






- Remove the screws - arrows - (6 Nm) on the amplifier.






- Remove the amplifier just far enough until the connectors are accessible.

- Disconnect the connectors on the amplifier - arrows -.






- Remove the amplifier.

Installing

- Make sure the amplifier slides into the notch on the bracket correctly when installing.

Further installation is in the reverse sequence to removal.
