Vacuum Pump: Service and Repair

Vacuum Pump

Removing
- Remove engine cover.
- Remove air filter.
- Remove high pressure pump using the roller tappet.





- Disconnect ground cable - 3 - and remove bolt - 4 -.





- Remove vacuum hose - 1 - from vacuum pump.





- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove vacuum pump.

Note:
^ Do not disassemble the vacuum pump.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

- Clean sealing surfaces.
- Install seal on the vacuum pump, install 2 bolts, and then mount it on the cylinder head.
