Vacuum Pump

Removing

- Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Engine Cover.

- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to => [ Air Filter Housing ] Air Filter Housing.

- Remove the high pressure pump. Refer to => [ High Pressure Pump ] High Pressure Pump.

- Remove the ground (GND) wire - 3 - and bolt - 4 -.






- Remove the vacuum hose - 1 - from the vacuum pump.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the vacuum pump.






• Do not disassemble the vacuum pump.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Cylinder Head Overview ] Cylinder Head Overview.

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

- Clean the sealing surfaces.

- Install the seal on the vacuum pump, install the 2 bolts and then mount it to the cylinder head.
