Rear Treble Speaker

• Removal and installation of left or right side speakers is identical.

Removal

Do the following before starting the procedure:

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the rear seat bench.

- Remove the screws - arrows - on the lower trim panel.






- Remove cover - 1 - by unclipping the cover at points designated by - arrows -.






- Remove the screw - arrow - on the upper trim panel.






- Pull off trim upward and disconnect harness connector from treble speaker.

To replace the speaker, replace complete side trim, for this the lower seat belt anchor must be unbolted on the sill.

It is not necessary to remove the seat belt in order to repair wire connection for speaker, unroll seat belt completely and set down the trim on the convertible top frame.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
