Engine Mount: Service and Repair






Engine, Securing to the Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

Lifting Tackle (3033)

Shop Crane - Load Cap = 700-1200 KG (VAS 6100)

Engine-/Gearbox Jack (V.A.G 1383 A)

Engine Support (3269)

Secure the engine to the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095) when working on it.

Procedure

- Remove the transmission from the engine.

- After separating the engine from the transmission, secure the torque converter to prevent it from "falling out".

- Install the lifting tackle (3033) and lift the engine using the shop crane - load cap = 700-1200 KG (VAS 6100) from the engine-/gearbox jack (V.A.G 1383 A).






Vibration damper side: Position 3.

Flywheel side: Position 11.

Using the Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095) with Universal Mounts






- Secure the engine to the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095) as shown.

Using the Engine Support (3269)






- Secure the engine support (3269) to the cylinder block as shown.
