Ultrasonic Sensor: Service and Repair

Interior Monitoring Sensor and Vehicle Inclination Sensor, from 06.06







The interior monitoring sensor G273 and the vehicle inclination sensor G384 are installed together in one housing in the driver side of the headliner.

NOTE: The anti-theft alarm system must be deactivated to remove the interior monitoring sensor and the vehicle inclination sensor

Removing
- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
- Lower the headliner







- Release the retainer - arrow - using a suitable screwdriver and remove the sensor housing downward out of the headliner.







- Release and disconnect the connector - arrow - and remove the housing - 1 - with the interior monitoring sensor and the vehicle inclination sensor.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
