ABS Warning Lamp and Brake System Warning Lamp





^ If the ABS Warning Lamp K47 - 1 - goes out but the Brake System Warning Lamp K18 - 2 - remains on, then the malfunction may be:

- a - The parking brake is applied.

- b - There is a malfunction in the activation of the Brake System Warning Lamp K118.

- c - The brake fluid level is too low.

If the ABS Warning Lamp K47 - 1 - and the Brake System Warning Lamp K18 - 2 - illuminated, the ABS system is faulty and the EBD (electronic brake pressure distribution) is not functioning.

CAUTION: After the ABS Warning Lamp K47 and Brake System Warning Lamp K118 have illuminated, it is possible that the rear wheels will lock-up earlier when braking.
