Rear Spoiler, OBD DTC Memory, Checking, Function 02

NOTE: The vehicle system tester VAG1552 can be used instead of the scan tool VAG1551, however a print-out is not possible.

- Connecting scan tool - Scan Tool, Connecting, initiating On Board Diagnosis (OBD) - Rear Spoiler OBD, Initiating.
- Switch on printer with the Print button (indicator lamp in button lights up).

Indicated on display:

Select function XX

- Press buttons 0 and 2. (Function "Interrogate fault memory" is selected with 02).

- Press Print button.
- Confirm entry with Q button.

The number of stored DTCs appears in the display.

X faults recognized.

The stored DTCs will be displayed and printed out one after the other.

NOTE:
- If a malfunction is recognized:
- 1. Repair malfunction
- 2. Erase DTC memory (function 05)
- 3. Interrogate DTC memory again (function 02).

- The malfunctions printed out can be repaired with aid of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) table, - Rear Spoiler, OBD DTC Table.
- The function "Read measured value block", - Rear Spoiler, OBD Measured Value Block, Reading, Function 08 and Display group overview from - Rear Spoiler, OBD Display Group Overview are additional aids.

If "No fault recognized" is displayed the program will return to the initial position after pressing the arrowright button.

- Disconnect connection to scan tool VAG1551.
