Some "Premium 5.5" and "Premium 5.5 Monsoon" systems are prepared for Satellite Radio operation

A separate satellite radio receiver is mounted under the front passengers footwell carpet. The receiver works in conjunction with the "Premium 5.5" and optional "Premium 5.5 Monsoon" head units.

The satellite radio uses an antenna capable of receiving dedicated satellite radio broadcasts. Sedan - location: on roof. Convertible - location: in instrument panel, under center top cover.

The satellite radio receiver fulfills the requirements of satellite radio service suppliers XM or Sirius in the USA only (information current at time of publication).

Satellite radio service is provided to customers on a subscription basis.

Before troubleshooting or servicing, technicians must be familiar with the functions and operation specifics of the applicable standard or optional radio system. Always read the radio owners manual and review all radio and satellite radio functions.
