Only Volkswagen approved battery testers may be used to test batteries in Volkswagen vehicles. Use the Midtronics (MCR340V) battery tester in the USA and Canada.

Read the Safety Precautions, set-up and operating instructions in the Operating Instructions that come with the Midtronics (MCR340V) unit.

The following charging and analysis procedures applied to all batteries, all battery installed locations (engine compartment or luggage compartment) and all battery purposes (for the starter or for the second/comfort battery).
