CD Changer: Service and Repair

CD Changer (R41)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Radio Removal Tool (VAS 3316)

The CD changer is installed under the center armrest.

Removing

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Open foldable center armrest completely.

- If there is a CD still inside the CD changer, remove it. Refer to the Operating Instructions.

- Insert the (VAS 3316) into the slots on the CD changer until it audibly engages.

- Remove the CD changer using the (VAS 3316) - arrows -.






- Disengage harness connector at points designated with - arrows - and disconnect it.






- Squeeze the clips - arrow - and remove the (VAS 3316).






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
