Crankshaft Needle Bearings

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drift (VW 207C) or centering mandrel (3176)

• Adapter (T10055/3)

• Kukko extractor 14.5-18.5 mm (21/2)

• Puller (T10055)

• For vehicles with a DSG transmission, the needle bearing must be installed in the crankshaft end on the flywheel side.

Removing

- Pull out the needle bearing using the (Kukko 21/2) - arrow -, (T10055/3) and the (T10055).





Installing

• The side of the needle bearing with the writing on it must be readable when installed.

- Drive in using the (VW 207C) or the (3176).
